Rocketry Though the Ages (1959)

This book has really nice rocket illustrations. Each painted images takes you through history and into the anticipated near future. I blogged about this in 2010, so a more complete scan seemed good. Also having the text that goes with each page is a plus, yea for flatbed scanners! Remember you can "click" on each image and it will appear larger (and maybe more readable.)

Cox, Donald W. and Michael Stoiko. Illustrated by Kocher, W.A. Rocketry through the Ages. Philadelphia: Winston. (41 p.) 1959.

  1. Hey John, I just wanted to drop you a quick note to say I've been following your blog for several years via RSS, and appreciate that you post these cool books so frequently.

    Thank you so much!

  2. Most of the designs have technical literature origins, but I can't say I've ever seen that Photon Rocket anywhere before. Reminds me of Stuhlinger's Solar Ion Drive.
