Funny Pictures Magazine May 1964

The May issue of Funny Pictures magazine had a comic strip about spaceflight I wanted to share. Funny Pictures was a Soviet children's magazine with joke, cartoons and stories. I like these charming stories and this one has a nice fantasy about a boy's dream about adventures in space.

The Adventures of Toby Brite and Bobby (1953)

It is time again for the Adventures of Toby Brite and Bobby, toothbrush in space! I blogged about a different copy of this story in 2009 so it is time to see this again.

https://dreamsofspace.blogspot.com/2009/05/adventures-of-toby-brite-bobby-1953.html

This version was a premium handed out at dentist and perhaps schools for dental education. As you can see it had been reprinted several times in this pamphlet form. The adventures of a boy and his talking toothbrush, who just happen to fly a space ship. Seriously, does the "space tie-in" get any more ridiculous?

No much space content but a good palate (teeth?) cleanser from the last few posts.
