Highlights Magazine: "Space Traveler's ABC" & Chuko, The Space Mouse" April (1959)

Highlights was another magazine just for children. This May 1959 issues had two stories about spaceflight .

The first was Space Traveler's ABC. The author Margaret Hyde had written a number of spaceflight books for children.

The second article is about spaceflight testing with mice. It is actually describing an laboratory experiment in how we could have longer term spaceflights. I find it interesting that this was also in a magazine aimed at elementary age children.
