I continue to re-scan and expand some of my old posts. This is one of the better illustrated space books. The "heroic" style make me want to jump into my spacesuit and take off.

Dream to Meet (1958)

 

A very pictorial Russian book, Dream to Meet, is basically the size of a paperback book but loaded with illustrations. I thought you would enjoy these images.

A last book for space station month from Russia. This one has a number of fantastical vision of working in orbit.

What the Telescope Told Us (1972)

I was excited to get a 1st edition of this popular book. It has some beautiful paintings of Soviet future exploration of the Solar system.

 I like the mix of the Lunokhod 1 rover and the bottom half of the LEM in the painting as they roam the Moon.
